Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kohima, Nagaland under ATARI,Zone-VII successfully conducted a one day Training programme on “Organic Nutrient Management in Rabi crops & Impoortance of Kitchen Garden” at Conference Hall, Office of Superintendent of Police, Tseminyu on 17th September 2026. The programme was graced by Shri.Tumchobemo Yanthan, Additional Superintendent Of Police,Tseminyu. During technical session the expert from Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kohima Mr.Imtinuksung,SMS (Soil Conservation) explained organic source of nutrients, use of biofertilizers and liquid formulations to enhance soil health and rabi crop production. Transitioning to household health the session highlighted on how a simple kitchen garden provide nutritional security,economic saving and chemical free vegetables throughout the year. A hands on demonstration on Soil Organic carbon testing was done using Soil Organic Detection Kits. Altogether 57 police personnels from Police Department,Tseminyu district attended the training. The programme concluded with distribution of Rabi seed Kits.
