Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kohima organized an awareness campaign on integrated Nutrient Management and nutritional garden establishment at Government Higher Secondary School, Jotsoma on 10th May, 2026. the Programme was part of an ongoing intensive awareness campaign promotion science-based nutrient and input management. The campaign aimed to educate students on nutritional gardening, balanced nutrient use, soil health improvement and sustainable agriculture practices. officials from KVK Kohima and ATMA Kohima conducted hands-on demonstrations covering nursery raising, soil preparation and sustainable cultivation practices. a total of 54 class XII students participated, engaging in practical activities such as composting and crop care to build lifelong skills and improve dietary diversity in Mid-Day Meals. Each participants received at kharif vegetable seed kit under the ICAR-IARI, NEH programme.
