Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kohima Nagaland participated in the 3rd Edition of Nagaland Potato festival 2026 held at Jakhama Village under Kohima District on 15th May, 2026. In the exhibition stall, KVK Kohima exhibited various posters related to the campaign on Balanced use of fertilizers and thoroughly explained it to all the visitors. Hon’ble Minister of State for Women Resource Development & Horticulture, Govt. Of Nagaland, Smti. Salhoutuonuo Kruse, Hon'ble MLA & Chairman DPDB, Kohima, GoN, Shri. Kevipodi Sophie and Hon'ble MLA of Phek District, GoN, Shri. Dr Neisatuo Mero and various other dignitaries visited the exhibition stall of KVK Kohima and highly appreciated KVK Kohima's efforts in guiding the participants as well as the farmers on the importance of adopting need-based fertilizer application, use of organic manures, biofertilizers, green manuring, and soil health management practices to improve nutrient use efficiency and reduce excess dependence on chemical fertilizers.
